Weekly CFB Recap

Lets start with the Monday games. That UCLA/Tennessee game was a fun game to watch, even though I had money on UT. There is no way that UCLA should have even been in that game, but Tennessee was unable to capitalize on 4 turnovers which in most cases would guarantee a win for a team. I believe this game did show that SEC defenses are the real deal, but the UT kicker missed 3 field goals. Could all of this be because of the loss of Cutcliff? Maybe!

The Big East was embarrassed. Rutgers struggled to get in the endzone, and I certainly hope their kicker shows some improvement as the season progresses. Pittsburgh should be embarrassed. Louisville should be embarrassed. The Orangemen have sucked for years. The first weekend makes it looked like a race between West Virginia and South Florida.

Michigan surprised me that they were able to score a fair amount of points. They also surprised me because their defense gave up a bunch of points. If they play on defense like they did against Utah, I think they are in real big trouble.

Do I need to say the Sean Glennon is a horrible QB? Do I need to say Dave Wanny is a terrible head coach?

This was a college football week that I feel I learned a bunch. I don't really care about the games I lost because I didnt' bet a huge amount on any games because I still feel like I need to get a feel for teams. The one team that ticked me off....Wisconsin. They gave up the backdoor TD with 10 seconds left in the game. Ugh, that ticked me off, but man I was stoked that football was finally back.
